Hydrocarbon reserves and resources, opportunities for Russian offshore subsoil studies and commercial development in 21 century

Current situation with hydrocarbon reserves and resources on the shelf of Russian seas is presented. The prospects and trends of their development are substantiated as well as the potential for large oil and gas production multipurpose centers creation including some sort of clusters within them, where E&P activities will continue together with oil and gas treatment facilities construction. Such an approach is aimed at reduction of time for bringing the explored gas and liquid HC reserves into development.
